If you're a male model or a female model or considering modeling as a career, there are some factors that need to be considered.

Sometimes we all have those moments where we forget just how talented we are. It is then that we become cumbersome to the situation and tend to slip away. It is these moments that I tend to remind myself of the little things that make me who I am. One thing that I found that can help is making a list of all the things you can do and then reading them out loud. This helps remind me that I can be creative and I do have options I just need to look out side the box to find them. Many of us forget about the small crafty things we can do and sometimes the small things are the most important things, and the things that can help the most.
We are just about to launch our media blitz for the Drake Girl 8-disc step-by-step modeling classes. Here's a sneak peak at the 30-second spot that will be running across the United States.
IT happened again this month, a familiar pop culture cycle: the provocative pose, the righteous fuss, the blushing assurance that no offense was intended. This time around it involved actresses from “Glee” in GQ magazine, tapping into their inner tramps. Not long ago it was Miley Cyrus in Vanity Fair, giving the world a glimpse, or rather a glimmer, or really just the slightest insinuation, of her breasts.
The starlets change, the story doesn’t. If a young female performer with a relatively straight-laced image wants to take full charge of her brightest future, she apparently has to do some time on the pole.

Well forgive me all of you animals rights activist but after 2 weeks of events and every were I go, Bike Week, the Mall, we as a species seem to be more concerned with the animals than our own children. More fund raisers for dogs than our own children's well being... am I missing something here?
I'm thinking we need to slow down and put life in perspective unless we want planet of the apes, or should I say dogs.
There are a few things that will always remain the same in the modeling industry: one is the fear of a scam... What most people who enter the business come across is a great salesman selling them that if they have a portfolio you can get a job... Pictures sold! $500-1,000! They look great, hair done, make up artist that took the average to spectacular and the months go by and no work... Rip off #1.
But wait one of my favs: if you're really serious about getting into the industry you need "the edge" to be seen. Like any other professional you need schooling! $80 a class. The average school you will spend around $4,000 dollars, do some free mall work and at the end of it all... Rip off #2.
The Truth... Yes, I have paid for the glamorous photos, taken the class (two different schools) and still found no work. So the BIG question?
